At West Side Recreation and Park District Preschool our purpose and philosophy is to provide a developmentally appropriate program that promotes the development of children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills.  Special attention is given to children's individual learning and creativity.

Our goal is that each child's first school experience will be a positive one.  Our curriculum encourages language development, problem solving and social awareness in a small group setting. 

Our preschool is located in the Community Center Activity Building at 500 Cascade Place in Taft. We operate on an open-door policy, and parents are always welcome.  We also encourage parent participation, such as bringing snacks, helping with parties, and field trips.







PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
We have 3 classes for ages 3-5 years.  Our Tuesday/Thursday class has two sessions-9:00-10:30am or 11:00am-12:30pm.  Our Monday/Wednesday/Friday class is for ages 4-5 years and meets from 9:00-11:15am.

Toddler Time: Designed for children ages 2 years and up, accompanied by an adult/caregiver.  You will spend some fun time with your toddler participating in a variety of activities.

Preschool Fun: For ages 3-5 who are ready for some fun interaction and activitieson their own (adults do not stay).
