WOOD SHOP CLASS
Working in conjunction with Taft High and their instructors, WSRPD is offering Wood Shop. Students will have the ability to utilize the machinery and expertise of Taft High School. Students will build or learn how to build such things as: a clock, wall shelf, tables, chairs and many other wood working opportunities.
Who: Ages 18 & up
When: August 17-December 9
Time: 5:30-8:30pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays
Place: TUHS Wood Shop Classroom
Fee: $240 per student & per semester
*Fee does NOT cover wood for projects. All other incidentals covered.*

GYMNASTICS
Instructor Suzanne Hale is back to teach the basics of gymnastics. Classes operate on an on-going monthly basis. New students can join at any time. Class fees are due monthly by the 10th of each month. NO CLASSES MAY through JULY. Classes will resume September 6.

KARATE
Karate and Jukido Jujitsu classes take place on Tuesday evenings at the Community Center. Instructor is Ryan London. The art of Jukido Jujitsu focuses on body throws and using an opponent's energy against himself. Karate focuses on escapes, kicks, blocks and punches. New students are always welcome.

HUNTER'S SAFETY COURSES
With cooperation from the Taft Sportsman's Club, materials
and instruction for obtaining a California Hunting License are available approximately every three (3) months. A $5 facility
fee is required and registration takes place the first night of
class. The class is taught in three (3) mandatory sessions. Instructors are Larry Heptinstall and Ray Mortimer. Classes
are held at the Community Center located at 500 Cascade

DANCE CLASSES
