West Side Recreation & Park District has an opening for a part-time office position. 18-24 hours per week. $10.33 per hour. Customer service and computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft programs, are required. Application available at the District Office, 500 Cascade Place, Taft or online at www.wsrpd.com. All applicants must complete a District application form. Applications close at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 and may be submitted in person or via email at email@example.com. Fingerprint clearance is required upon offer of employment.

WEST SIDE RECREATION AND
PARK DISTRICT BOARD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of an unscheduled vacancy on The West Side Recreation and Park District Board, and the Taft City Council is seeking applications to serve on the Board of Directors for a term that expires on December 31, 2015.
The appointment shall be made by the Taft City Council pursuant to Section 5783.5, California Public Resource Code at the City of Taft regular Council Meeting on February 3, 2015.
All applicants shall be registered voters and reside within the City of Taft at the time of filing a letter of interest for appointment. Appointees must remain registered voters residing within the City of Taft during the entire term of the appointment. Candidates are advised that a Statement of Economic Interests Disclosure will be required upon assuming office.
All individuals interested in serving on the West Side Recreation and Park District Board should submit an Application for Appointment to the City Clerk, City of Taft, 209 East Kern Street, Taft, CA no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015. Applications can be found on the city’s website – www.cityoftaft.org or picked up at Taft City Hall.
